Muck to Gold, Earth Centre
A permanent exhibition for the Living Machine: an enormous greenhouse of tropical plants which is Earth Centre's natural sewage plant. With the cabinet made for Expo 2000 as its centerpiece, the exhibition features artifacts, automata and a reading corner. Stories and facts are revealed about human manure: its uses around the world and through the centuries. The exhibition is informative, accessible and amusing.
